Soccer, football, basketball, baseball - whatever he could do he did. He was also the eldest of two brothers and his parents both worked a lot. The result was that he was something of a bossy big brother, but the two boys played together and were pretty close when Tom wasn't bossing Jake around. Tom carried on with his love of sports at college in Denver, but never wanted to persue it as a pro-player. Too much pressure, too much focus on one thing. Not to mention your career being over at a relatively young age, and if you get and injury you could be screwed for life. So he went with teaching it instead. He likes kids, and has just the right amount of laid back combined with attitude to handle teenagers without going crazy. He also coaches basketball in his spare time, just because he can. He discovered his interest in kink slowly, though a few mostly-vanilla encounters in college. When he got his first teaching job in Boulder, he did some thinking and discretely started attending munches. He's been a member of the Power Company for nearly five years now.
